Aerodigestive disorders include a wide variety of chronic respiratory concerns with underlying gastrointestinal issues. Our Aerodigestive Disorders are of complex breathing and swallowing disorders of the aerodigestive tract (nose, mouth, throat, lungs, esophagus and stomach), and also including: Upper Airway Disorders, Esophageal Disorders, Pulmonary Disorders

Many symptoms can indicate an aerodigestive disorder, including:

  1. Choking episodes.
  2. Chronic cough.
  3. Dysphagia (difficult or painful swallowing).
  4. Failure to thrive.
  5. Frequent vomiting or food regurgitation.
  6. High-pitched noisy breathing.
  7. Recurrent croup.
  8. Recurrent respiratory infections.
  9. Reflux affecting the airway.
  10. Resistant asthma.
